Hello my name is Gabriela, but most people call me Gaby. I live in the wonderful California, where I was born and raised. I am from a a bordertown called Mexicali in Baja California, Mexico, where it currently is 102 degrees hot. It is a lovely town, all my family lives there, but daamn its hot. I will be living there for almost a month working with my friend who just finished producing his first collection for Feminine and Masculine. He stayed in Leon, Guanajuato for almost 3 weeks , and in Mexico City for almost a month, trying to finish and he finally did. I was up there for 2 of those weeks, from what started as a vacation, but ended up gladly helping him. I guess he liked my assitance so much that he made me his assistant. (I'm getting a discount on a pair of shoes) They will eventually lead to profits, but right now I'm working out of the goodness of my heart. We have recently gotten a lot closer due to consecutive calls since I am one of the only means of conversations he has, and since I have time on my hands I say well why not I love him to death, and I have a hell of a good time. He will be back home tomorow Friday, May 29th, 2009. I will be traveling back home with all my gear to start working on Monday at his Studio. I'm very excited, I want to get this thing up and running, get him all the way up to the top. It will be hard work, but I love a challenge. Right now I will be going up north to say goodbye to my beautiful friend Daniela (left) since I won't be seeing her for a while, or till her passport is delivered.
